Allen Daggett knows his lobsters! Daggett, a native of Kennebunkport, Maine, has owned Cape Porpoise Lobster Co. for 35 years. His company is located in picturesque Cape Porpoise, a small coastal village of Kennebunkport. The village occupies the mainland adjacent to Cape Porpoise Harbor where more than a dozen islands protect this deep natural harbor.
Cape Porpoise Pier is a busy and active fishing port and is where Daggett buys his lobsters direct from a group of selected fishermen. Cape Porpoise Lobster operates its own seafood processing facility that is FDA HACCP certified, so you can be assured of the freshest, most consistent, top quality lobsters and seafood.
Allen and his wife Wanda are also owners of Cape Pier Chowder House. This 11 year old outdoor seasonal restaurant is widely known for great lobsters, dinners and lobster rolls. Other family members are involved in the business as well.
Cape Porpoise Lobster Co. was established with a firm commitment to providing customers with a product of the highest quality and excellent customer service. While the company has grown and changed over the years, its commitment to customers has not. The company ships only premium hard-shell, freshly caught Certified Maine Lobsters and fresh seafood.
